It will actively work in tangent with partners already providing cooking sessions on all levels to avoid duplicity. Through a centralised interactive website it will highlight and encourage a wide and diverse range of community members to participate in the cooking sessions that currently exist, plus those that are planned, with clear downloadable information. It will create vital links to formal training courses, provide access to learn how and where local food is grown, how to source affordable seasonal food and to hire specialist cooking equipment and purchase dry basics.

The website will establish an invaluable resource that community groups and organisations will be made aware of by means of a large publicity drive at a grassroots level. In addition to this, Cracking Food will continue with Cooks on the Hop, a promotional drive to get people cooking, by cooking in the street. Passers-by cannot resist the tasting and watching of those that cook.

This will enable people to have an opportunity of joining up on a 6 week cooking course run locally by Cracking Food or one of our partners. These courses will be run by chefs/local foodies who will cook with groups of 8 - 10 people, providing good, basic, tasty cooking.
