Black Environment Network
The Black Environment Network works to enable full ethnic minority participation in the natural, historic and built environment by:
- Supporting ethnic minority communities to access the resources available within the environment sector and other sectors to improve their quality of life.
- Developing projects with communities which are relevant to their social and cultural needs.
- Enabling mainstream organisations to open out their services and work more effectively with ethnic minority communities.
- Supporting staff and volunteers through advice and training to enable them to reach out and work more effectively with ethnic minority communities.
