Garden Organic
Garden Organic, the UK's leading organic growing charity, has been at the forefront of the organic horticulture movement for 50 years and is dedicated to researching and promoting organic gardening, farming and food.
The charity reaches more than 3 million beneficiaries across the world through its expert advice and information, and is based at Garden Organic Ryton in Warwickshire.
The site is one of the charities demonstration gardens showcasing all aspects of organic growing and boasts Britain's Best Organic restaurant, the world's first public biodynamic garden and the charity's Heritage Seed Library; protecting over 800 varieties of rare vegetable seeds from extinction.
Pupils in over 10% of all schools in the UK are learning more about food and organic growing through Garden Organic's free educational programme and over 500 Master Composter volunteers are working in their communities around the UK to spread the home composting message through Garden Organic's sustainable waste programme.
