Application Process

Programme Suspension

Due to a phenomenal demand for funding the Local Food programme is currently suspended to all NEW first stage applications. For further details please visit our Suspension FAQs page.

What is the application process?

Local Food employs a two stage application process for all three sizes of grant.

  • First Stage Application: A simple open application process for projects to outline their proposals and to ensure eligibility.
  • Full Application: All eligible projects will be invited to submit a Full Application. If you are not invited to submit a Full Application we will tell you why.

Click on the images below to view the application process flowcharts. Alternatively you can download the flowcharts in Adobe Acrobat format.

Why do we have an application process?

Both stages of the application process are designed to make sure that all applicants have an equal opportunity to bid for and be awarded funding.

Ways you can submit an application?

Full Application forms are available in:

  • Electronic copy: Forms can be completed in a word interactive document and emailed to localfood@rswt.org
  • Hard copy: Forms can be handwritten and posted to the Local Food team at;

    RSWT,
    The Kiln, Waterside,
    Mather Road, Newark,
    Nottinghamshire, NG24 1WT

Please be aware that even though you will be able to complete the forms electronically, you will still need to submit hard copies of certain documents (see checklist at the back of the Full Application form for more details).

We will only consider applications made on a Local Food application form.
