Applications Closed

The deadline for First Stage Beacon Grant Applications closed on June 30th 2008. Full Applications will need to be submitted before the end of November 2008. The successful Beacon Grants will be announced in March 2009.

How much funding is available?

Between £300,001 to £500,000 is available for Beacon Grants.

Will my project be funded?

We will use the criteria for Main Grants to assess applications for Beacon Grants, plus the following additional criteria:

for Multi-Regional and National projects, the project must demonstrate not only community consultation but wider consultation and communication (for example, with stakeholders)
the project must show how it will impact on the areas it is targeting, and display substantial benefits through its intended activities
the project must show how it will leave a lasting legacy, or display a comprehensive sustainability/exit strategy, on how it intends to continue
